Jan 18 Fishing Report for Ft Myers
The water temps have reached the low 60s and the big sheepshead have moved into the backwaters. Sheepshead tend to gravitate to docks, rock jetties, oyster bars and mangroves. They can be caught on live shrimp or fiddler crabs. We have been using shrimp a 2/0 Mustad circle hook with a split shot and 20lb fluorocarbon leader with great success. The bite has been great so take advantage of the beautiful Florida weather and lets get out on the water! We have plenty of availability and can even try to squeeze you in for a last minute trip if necessary. Don’t hesitate, book now!
Tight Lines!
